Libanki is dual licensed - distributed under the terms of the GPL3 for
Anki on the desktop, and under a proprietary license for AnkiOnline
(so that AnkiOnline can be resold to other companies and academic
institutions wanting to run a private server).
You are free to make changes to libanki and distribute those changes
as per the GPL3. However, if you want your changes to be integrated
back into the official libanki, it is necessary to assign copyrights
for the changes over to Damien Elmes. To do this, please send
anki@ichi2.net an email indicating you wish to assign copyright over.
